WHY YOU SHOULD RENT

MINIMUM INVENTORY: Ownership can be very expensive when equipment is idle. Combining ownership of basic equipment with rental equipment as needed will minimize idle time.

RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR THE JOB: Eliminate the hidden costs of inefficiency due to use of wrong size or wrong type of equipment and maintenance and repair incurred. Rental equipment ensures the right equipment for the job.

WAREHOUSING: Use of rental equipment eliminates the need for large storage area and/or buildings, thus overhead in your cost of doing business is minimized.

BREAKDOWNS: Virtually all equipment is subject to occasional breakdowns. However, when rented equipment breaks down, idle time is minimized through replacement by JCR and repair costs are eliminated.

MAINTENANCE: Rented equipment includes full maintenance, no repair shop, no spare parts inventory, no mechanics and no added maintenance payroll or maintenance record keeping.

EQUIPMENT OBSOLESCENCE: Ownership of equipment involves the risk of rising wage costs and slower job completion time due to owning worn, obsolete models when new, better, faster models are available.

DISPOSAL COSTS: Preparing used, obsolete equipment for resale, advertising and selling time are factors of ownership that do not occur in renting.

COST CONTROL: Knowing the true cost of owned equipment is difficult. Rented equipment offers you just one accountable cost figure, the rental invoice.

INVENTORY CONTROL: The presence of continuous billing on rented equipment establishes personal accountability. Inventory loss due to pilferage is minimized.

TAXES/LICENSES: Personal property taxes and license costs are eliminated on rental equipment.

CONSERVATION OF CAPITAL: Renting construction equipment frees your capital for other potentially more profitable uses.

INCREASE IN BORROWING CAPACITY: Contractors who rent instead of purchase find borrowing easier with a better ratio of net worth to liabilities since equipment does not appear as a liability on the balance sheet. The normal line of bank credit is not disturbed, a most important asset in securing bonds for construction work.

What you need to rent

In order to rent any equipment we require a valid Drivers License with a local address along with a major Credit Card for a deposit and they must match (must be the same person at the counter).

We do not accept checks or cash for a deposit. We also will not take a credit card for deposit over the phone. If we are delivering equipment the renter must be present with the credit card for the deposit.

Renting equipment is similar to renting a vehicle, the renter is responsible for any damages and must provide proper ID along with a credit card for deposit.

Please Note:

When using your credit card or debit card for deposit the deposit amount will be unavailable to you for up to 3-5 business days depending on your bank. Even if you pay with the same card, check or cash. If you look online it shows as a double charge, but the deposit amount will fall off. This is a normal bank procedure, not ours.

We offer hourly, weekly and monthly rates.

Hourly break down as follows:

0-2 hrs.

2-4 hrs.

4-8 hrs.

8-24 hrs.

You are charged the amount that corresponds to the time you physically have the equipment. TIME OUT, not time used.

Once you get to 3 days you get 2 for free.

Once you get to 4 days you get 3 for free.

3 weeks becomes your monthly rate.

Return Policy

The equipment rented must be returned in the same condition before the rental full of fuel and clean. If there is damage you can be liable for the repair and or replacement cost. Keep in mind we do our best to keep repair costs at a minimum, we do not try to make money on accidents. We understand that things happen and because we are reasonable we will only seek what is fair.

We also expect all gas powered equipment to be returned full or we charge extra for fuel used. Please check for our fuel price as it is subject to change. You are also responsible for returning the equipment back clean, we reserve the right to charge extra for out of the ordinary cleaning time.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, local checks, and cash.

We do have over 300 charge account customers. If you rent more than $ 2,500.00 per year and have been in business for at least 5 years, please inquire about setting up a Net 15-day charge account.

Towing Policy

Real simple,

3000lb or under, we allow a 1/2 ton truck with a frame mounted hitch only (never bumper mounted).

Over 3000 up to a 8000lb machine 3/4 ton minimum with frame mounted hitch class 5.

10,000 to 12,000lb requires a one ton minimum with electric brakes and frame mounted class 5. customer must also provide sufficient trailer for equipment of this size. (we do not carry trailers big enough for this size equipment)

No exceptions. No excuses.

Overkill is always the better policy here.

The insurance companies dictate to us what vehicles we can allow to tow out of the store.

So, yes sir, your Toyota Corola could totally pull my Bobcat and trailer that weigh 10,000lb, but the insurance people just won't let me, sorry! I'm just not covered...

Engine size has very little to do with towing, people come in all the time with an old 1/2 ton and immediately say I got a v-8 in there--it doesn't matter it is still just a 1/2 ton.

The only things we let go out on bumper hitches are trenchers, tillers, chippers and smaller stuff.

Delivery Policy

Delivery cost within 2 miles from our store is $50.00 roundtrip. Outside of 2 miles up to 10 miles it is $100. More than 10 miles add $2.00 per loaded mile thereafter. All deliveries are roundtrip one charge, not each way.

Please note that when you are finished with the delivered equipment we do not assume you are done until you call for a pickup, even if it is after hours you can leave us a message for pick up. Telling the driver at the drop off to pick it up the next day will not work. You must call the store or your time will continue.

Problems

If you are having any trouble with our equipment, your fault or ours, you must call us immediately.

We have a fully equipped service truck that is able to do onsite repairs such as welding, hose repair, minor repairs etc. It is our goal to be on your jobsite within an hour of any trouble so that we can get you back to work. We know time is money. If you are able to bring the equipment back to our shop we can swap you out or repair it there. Sometimes this is the most efficient way. If it something that you have done to break the equipment we do charge for our time. If it is normal wear and tear we do not charge and then we credit you time wasted.
